In 2015, a small group of friends and neighbors gathered around Steve’s kitchen table to discuss what changes they felt were needed in Kingston. During these early meetings, as the group discussed the challenges that laid ahead, it became clear that with the right leadership, Kingston could prosper. There was no question that Kingston’s greatest strength is its diverse and creative community members. At that small kitchen table, the “One Kingston” concept was born. The premise was simple- value our differences, celebrate the unique qualities of each neighborhood, and work together to build a strong and resilient city where everyone could thrive.
One Kingston, Many Neighborhoods, Countless Possibilities.
